Cartagena Bicycle Ride around Tierra Bomba

Following an early breakfast, you’ll be collected at 7am from your hotel. Making the journey to the very end of Bocagrande, you’ll catch a boat across the bay to reach the island of Tierra-Bomba in a short 15-minute ride.

Landing on the North-East side of the island at a little town called Punta Arenas, your bicycle will be ready and waiting to show you the sights of this wonderful island filled with history and beautiful settings. Your travels will start with a leisurely ride to the other side of the island, to the small town of Bocachica. Once here you’ll visit the cultural attractions of the San Fernando Fort (Castillo de San Fernando), and the battery of Ángel San Rafael, located on the Hill of the Horn (Cerro del Horno).

Next, it’s back on your bike and a relaxing ride back to Punta Arenas for a wonderful typical Caribbean lunch, and a bit of beach time of an hour or so before the boat picks you up again between 3 and 4pm. On arrival back to the mainland your transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel, in time for a fantastico night in the Caribbean paradise of Cartagena.
