Getting there

You will be collected from your Santa Marta hotel and be driven in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to a meeting point in Palomino. Once here you’ll be transferred to the back of a motorbike for the next stage of this adventure.

You’ll absolutely love the scenery as you cruise with the air in your hair for around 15 minutes to get to the starting point of your 1.3-hour ecological walk through some of the best and most amazing landscape the Sierra Nevada has to offer.

The Kogi Village

Your destination is the Kogi indigenous Village of Sevianca. Once here you’ll be greeted with the smiling indigenous children, who’ll be expecting a small gift, so please don’t disappoint; candy, books, toy, etc. (Suggested value of gift $2 USD). You'll have approximately 30 minutes full of fun and photos before carrying on to tubing down the Palomino River. 

Tubing down the river

For this part, you'll simply relax and let the current do all the work for the next 3-4 hours to finally reach the beauty that is awaiting you as the river opens up into the grand Caribbean Sea.
