You will visit the Perpetuo Socorro neighbourhood, home to the city's very first Creative District—a sustainable and vibrant urban ecosystem filled with creative, artistic, and cultural projects, all nestled within a traditional area of mechanical workshops.
As you walk through its most representative streets, we'll learn about the history and core values of the District, while admiring the murals, banners, and signs that showcase the presence of more than 65 creative ventures.
You'll then enter a coworking space where various cultural, social, and sustainable initiatives are developed by innovative companies.
The journey continues to the iconic Mattelsa building, a clothing company with a unique philosophy rooted in leisure, creativity, and sustainability. Its business culture is a living example of how work and wellbeing can harmoniously coexist.
Next, you’ll head to Bodega Comfama, a dynamic house of entrepreneurship that highlights local projects through programming slots and creative markets, giving a platform to emerging talent and fresh ideas.
Finally, we’ll arrive at the Coffee District (La Fábrica) for a coffee tasting experience. Guided by a coffee expert, we will explore the history and process of coffee—from bean to cup.
You’ll taste three outstanding Colombian coffees in a sensory experience designed to awaken your sense of smell and taste. By comparing the coffees with fresh fruits and other flavors, you’ll learn to detect subtle differences and use your comparative memory to appreciate the richness of Colombian coffee.
