You’ll enjoy an amazing tour of the city of Eternal Spring (so named for its consistent weather all year long). On this tour, you’ll see the most important locations in this grand city, and enjoy a mix of culture, history, and local traditions.

Combined with this tour you’re also going to enjoy an extraordinary tour through Comuna 13. Once a place unsafe for the police, this is now a hub for tourism with amazing murals and graffiti covering the street walls. Along with this you’ll enjoy wonderful views and ride the outdoor escalators.

Your tour will be finishing up around 2 pm, which will give you the remainder of the day free to explore.

Day 3: What a Rock!

You’ll enjoy a beautiful drive through the scenery of Antioquia towards Guatape Rock. On the way, you’ll be stopping at a replica of Old Peñol’s town plaza. The original town was actually sunk and is now at the bottom of Lake Guatape. The only piece still visible is the spiral from the church tower.

Next on today’s adventure will be La Pierda (The Rock or better know as Guatape Rock). This is simply a wonderful and huge stone standing tall and overlooking Lake Guatape far below. Once here you’ll have the opportunity to climb the 740 steps up to the very top, with breathtaking views every step of the way.

Following this, you’ll explore the colorful town of Guatape itself and stop for a spot of lunch at one of the many restaurants.

Day 4: Eco Hostel Farm School - Immersion into Spanish, Yoga, Meditation, and Organic Vegan Living

Your day will begin with a healthy and fresh vegan breakfast followed by an hour and a 1/2 of Spanish in an open-air classroom surrounded by wonderful mountain views, colorful birds, and the lush vegetable garden. Next, you'll enjoy a brief break to organize your Spanish notes before letting it all soak in during a peaceful and relaxing time of yoga and meditation.

You almost bounce from your bed so eager and full of energy to learn more, stretch your muscles and meditate more, and to create a cleaner body and mind!

Not only with your improved Spanish, but with the knowledge you've learned to enable yourself to enjoy a calmer life with so much more clarity in your mind than before.

The birds will begin to stir and start their morning song before the sun starts to peek over the horizon, and you find yourself meditating in bed before even opening your eyes.

Your last day in this wonderfully healthy Finca has begun and you'll relish every taste of your organic vegan breakfast this Friday before preparing to be collected later in the day. When your private transport will be picking you up and driving back through some familiar landscape to Medellín, where you'll enjoy a free afternoon and night.

Day 9 The Beautiful Heritage Listed Town of JARDIN

To enjoy Jardin you'll want to leave early, as the travel time there can be between 3-4 hours. So you'll be collected at 7 am from your hotel to enjoy a wonderful drive through the Antioquia countryside to arrive at the simply beautiful town of Jardin.

Waking to the sounds of the birds you'll think back to your time at the eco-hostel and begin to meditate with the new songs that are being sung outside your hotel window. After enjoying a superb breakfast you'll enjoy a brief walk through the town plaza enjoying a cafecito (small black coffee) while watching the world go by.

Next, you’ll start on your journey to Jerico; another simply breathtaking town, full of amazing scenes straight out of the set of a romantic movie.

Your first stop is at a hill overlooking Jerico, called Morro El Salvador. Here you’ll discover a giant Statue of Christ watching down on the residents far below, along with another wonderful photo opportunity for you.

Your 2nd stop in this colorful little town will be Los Balsos Botanical Gardens. Although only a small garden this space will provide you with a true sense of peace and relaxation, while walking along the stone path, and crossing small bridges, designed for the sole purpose of providing you pleasure.

Following this, you’ll continue to a workshop and museum of the stunning leather handbag called the carriel. Here you’ll not only get the opportunity to purchase one of the finest handmade leather products of this region, but you’ll also get to view the intense and hard work that goes into creating this functional piece of wearable art.
