Day 1: WELCOME TO THE COFFEE ZONE - your transport will be waiting!
Arrive at any time to be collected from the airport and be taken directly to your Salento Hotel.
Depending on your arrival time we can provide you with another tour or with suggestions of places to see and where to go.
Day 2: Filandia
A Beautiful and Colorful Town with Amazing views.
Journey to one of the most colorful towns in Colombia; Filandia. Famous for its gastronomy, wonderful Colombian Culture architecture, and fabulous views, you'll enjoy a walking tour where you'll be able to take many photos of the beautiful buildings, along with a trip to the mirador (lookout) where you'll be amazed at the spectacular 360' views you receive.
Santa Rosa Thermal Pools
Relax in the Hot Springs enjoying the beautiful setting.
The Thermal Pools of Santa Rosa is truly one of the most picturesque locations you can visit while in Colombia. Set in a valley surrounded by tropical rainforest the hot springs are quite simply amazing!
You can move through the pools finding your perfect temperature, as the boiling hot water enters from the center and the cool refreshing mountain water enters from the sides. You'll absolutely fall in love with the amazing waterfall that is an absolute must to visit.
Day 3: Wax palms, Salento & Coffee
This morning you'll start your day with some beautiful views from the Salento Mirador (Lookout), and a look down into the valley you will soon venture through.
Next, you'll take a trip into the lush Cocora Valley and a guided tour of the Wax Palm Forest. This valley is spectacular by itself, but when combined with the forest filled with the tallest wax palms in the world, it becomes an almost spiritual experience. You'll get to spend a few hours walking through this peaceful zone with more beautiful views in every direction.
After you've stopped for a wonderful lunch you'll continue onto a sensational coffee tour. This is one of the best coffee tours in Colombia and so very unique. The reason being the philosophy of this single lady owner. She has created a Finca that is completely pesticide and machinery free. Every part of the entire process is done by hand and with this, you'll discover the traditional methods of growing the perfect coffee bean. You'll also get to explore this wonderful Finca and find so much more than just coffee is grown here, such as a large variety of fruits as well. You'll learn the complete process from the seed to the cup, including handpicking a few beans yourself.
Day 4: Marsella Day Trip
You will be collected from your accommodation and driven north to experience Marsella, one of the most stunning small towns in the Colombian coffee landscape, taking delight in the remarkable mountain scenery along the way.
Once here, you’ll begin your tour of this wonderful mountain town with a visit to the Plaza (main square). You'll adore the style of the architecture of the surrounding buildings, such as the mayor's office, many restaurants, offices, and of course, the impressive Maria Inmaculada Chruch standing tall and overlooking the many people and pigeons below.
Next, it's a short walk over to the grandeur of the “Casa de La Cultura” with its giant chessboard and fantastic history within. You'll walk through this amazing building which functions as a living museum, as well as a centerpiece of the Colombian Coffee Zone Culture.
Following this, you'll get to enjoy a tour of the Botanical Gardens, along with the amazing Jesús María Estrada Cemetery. With an extraordinary architectural mix of styles such as Gothic, Baroque, and Corinthian.
Day 5: Time to Say Goodbye
We’ll have transport waiting to take you to the airport at your desired time.
