You will be collected from your Santa Marta hotel and be driven in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to a meeting point in Palomino. Once here you’ll be transferred to the back of a motorbike for the next stage of this adventure.
You’ll absolutely love the scenery as you cruise with the air in your hair for around 1 hour to get to the Kogi Village of Tungueca. Once here you’ll be greeted with the smiling indigenous children, who’ll be expecting a small gift, so please don’t disappoint; candy, books, toy, etc. (Suggested value of gift $2 USD).
Once you’ve arrived at the Tungueca village you’ll enjoy visiting and interacting with their culture for approximately an hour. You’ll see how they live and enjoy their simple life away from the cities, before heading off to take a refreshing swim nearby.
Next, you’ll be back to the village for a few more photos and before taking the motorbikes back to Palomino and your waiting transport home.
